A little something you know (ribs) and a little something you might not be expecting (a rippled, puckered texture) — both are included in this Butterscotch Pucker sweater knit bundle. Our package has sweater knit panels and rib bands for one complete sweater. You supply the sewing pattern, the thread, and your creative vision. All panels have finished bottom edges.
The two largest panels with the puckered texture may be used for the front and back of your future sweater. Relaxed, these panels measure 21.5” wide from selvage to selvage and are approximately 28” long. With seam allowances the maximum circumference of the finished garment would be approximately 40” with a 40% stretch. Fabric is medium weight sweater knit at 18 ounces per square yard (610 GSM).
The two panels of novelty rib are 21.5” wide x 24” long. Use as sleeve fabric. Or swap the panels for the front and back! Fabric is medium weight at 15 ounces per square yard (509 GSM).
The two rib bands are 25.5” wide and approximately 5” high. Since the front/back and sleeve panels are finished at the bottom, the bands could be used for placement at the neck (or saved for your next project). Rib bands stretch 20% without rib distortion.
